Your current committee are all standing for re-election at this year’s AGM, as we feel that we have had a successful year in helping the Club onto a firmer financial base than we have been in the past, and that as a team we work well together. This year we have worked with a couple of co-opted members who have carried out specialist roles behind the scenes and without attending our meetings. That has worked very well and our thanks to Jenny and Phil for their generous help. We feel that it will be of great benefit to the Club if we could get similar help from one or two more members who are prepared to function in the same co-opted way. We particularly need someone with the necessary specialist skills to act as Website co-ordinator, and it would be useful to have someone who is prepared to develop our contact database for all of our routine advertising. The latter would not need IT skills, so much as inter-personal skills, by making contact with people or groups, with whom we can get free advertising.
Finally our treasurer has announced he may wish to stand down in summer 2012, so if anyone is prepared to "shadow" Graham for the latter part of next year, so that they can take on his role, please step forward.
